Flat atomic structure
Electrons are the internal binders of the atom. Other particles are attracted towards the electrons. Therefor, the concept of a nucleus with orbiting electrons is not valid. Instead, atoms are considered to be rather flat structures filled with aplha particles, deuterium particles and neutrons. Some phenomena that resulted in the nucleus concept will be addressed in the paragraph Alpha-shells.
Below the structure of a Krypton atom which demonstrates the flat atomic structure.
